Cloud Business Development Manager

We are seeking a proactive business development manager who thrives on hunting and closing net new business in exciting new technologies.

Working remotely with regular team meetings inLondon.  You will report into the Sales and Solutions Director.   This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic thought and the ability to plan as well as be hands on with the day-to-day and delivering growth by applying net new business strategy and prospecting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

·     Prospecting: You will engage directly with prospects to communicate and execute the Go to Market.This will be done by combining multiple channels: phone, email, social selling and attending relevant events.

·     You will qualify and nurture leads/opportunities to grow pipeline, support deal acceleration, negotiation and closing of opportunities.

·     Consultative selling: Ensure the right solutions fit for customers through consultative engagements, solving business problems with Cloud solutions and services.

·     Evangelise, advocate, and provide a point of view on matters related to MS Azure solutions with a focus on services lifecycle and customer experience framework.

·     Sales process: Using Salesforce to provide accurate pipeline and opportunities activity and involved in regular meetings with the sales team to discuss initiatives and share strategies that help to close business or find new opportunities. Agile execution of deal registration and vendor’s engagement.

·     External working relationships: You will develop relationships with Microsoft Azure and Distributor Account Teams aligned to your accounts to maintain constant engagement and communication.

·     You will build executive relationships within your accounts -articulate Infinite Edge business strategies, create the demand and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.

·       You will interact with other Infinite Edge team members to effectively leverage the entire value and skills of the organisation to deliver agile propositions and participate in qualified RFPs.

 

WHO YOUARE

·      5+ year's successful track record within new business sales/ business development experience within a technology company.

·      Proven work experience selling MicrosoftAzure solutions and services with strong understanding on software and cloud propositions.

·      You are a results-oriented person who achieves sales targets and is great at prospecting.

·      You are super organised with areal eye for detail, but you are not held back by perfectionism.

·      You are a coachable person open to learning new approaches and sales strategies to keep a healthy pipeline and achieve your targets.

·      Proven work experience defining and executing prospecting strategies with direct and indirect activities to generate and manage leads. Experience executing activities to move leads through the sales funnel.

·      Exhibit excellent presentation and communications skills, both oral & written.

·      Ability to nurture trusted working relationships with senior-level people and counterparts within vendors, and distributors.

·      Understand the customer lifecycle and drive the Partner lifecycle stages and insertion points according to MSAzure offering and utilising Infinite Edge services.

·      You have experience articulating the value of software propositions and understand Enterprise Agreements as a value-added consumption model.

·      Experience positioning and selling professional services, support and managed services as operational models around cloud solutions.

·      You are a team player who generates trust in your colleagues and who can make a positive impact on company culture.

·      You are proactive - anticipate change, future needs or risk in the business or areas of responsibility and are comfortable in proposing appropriate activities to meet these challenges.

·      Knowledge and experience with various software tools and its functionalities including Salesforce, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.
