Infrastructure Business Development Manager

We are seeking a proactive business development manager who thrives on hunting and closing net new business in exciting new technologies.

Working remotely with regular team meetings inLondon.  You will report into the Sales and Solutions Director.   This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic thought and the ability to plan as well as be hands on with the day-to-day and delivering growth by applying net new business strategy and prospecting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 ·     Prospecting: You will engage directly with prospects to communicate and execute the Go to Market strategy to generate leads. This will be done through combining multiple channels: phone, email, social selling and attending to relevant events.

·     You will nurture and qualify leads/opportunities and provide assistance in deal acceleration, negotiation and closing opportunities.

·     Consultative selling: Ensure the right solutions fit for customers through consultative engagements as domain expert on solving business problems with Cisco software solutions and buying programs.

·     Evangelise, advocate, and provide a point of view on matters related to Cisco portfolio with focus on software lifecycle and customer experience framework.

·     Sales process: Using salesforce to provide accurate pipeline and opportunities activity and involved in regular meetings with the sales team to discuss initiatives and share strategies that help to close business or find new opportunities. Agile execution of deal registration and vendor’s engagement.

·     External working relationships: You will develop relationships with the Cisco and Distributor Account Teams aligned to your accounts to maintain a constant engagement and communication.

·     You will build executive relationships within your accounts -articulate Infinite Edge business strategies, create the demand and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.

·     Team effort: You will interact with other Infinite Edge team members to effectively leverage the entire value and skills of the organisation to deliver agile propositions and participate in qualified RFPs.

  

WHO YOU ARE

 ·      5+ year's successful track record within new business sales/ business development experience within a technology company.

·      Proven work experience sellingCisco solutions with strong understanding on software and cloud propositions.

·      You are super organised with areal eye for the detail, but you’re not held back by perfectionism.

·      You are a results-oriented person who achieve sales targets and is great at prospecting.

·      You are a coachable person open to learn new approaches and sales strategies to keep a healthy pipeline and achieve your targets.

·      Proven work experience defining and executing prospecting strategies with direct and indirect activities to generate and manage leads. Experience executing activities to move leads through the sales funnel.

·      Ability to nurture trusted working relationships with senior level people and counterparts within vendors, distributors.

·      Understand the customer lifecycle and driving the Partner lifecycle stages and insertion points according toCisco principles and utilising Infinite Edge services.

·      You have experience articulating the value of software propositions and understand Enterprise Agreements as a value-added consumption model.

·      Experience positioning and selling professional services, support and managed services as operational models around infrastructure solutions.

·      You are a team player who generates trust in your colleagues and who can make a positive impact on company culture.

·      You are proactive - anticipate change, future needs or risk in the business or areas of responsibility and comfortable in proposing appropriate activities to meet these challenges.

·      Knowledge and experience with various software tools and its functionalities including Salesforce, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.
