Speakers

Roland Plett is the global industry lead for energy and mining solutions at Cisco Systems out of Calgary AB Canada. He brings together the products of Cisco and its partners to solve challenges in the energy industry. He loves moving data from the dirtiest and most hazardous environments on earth to operator screens and critical business applications. Over the last 25 years Roland has been an active part of the data networking industry including 8 years at Bell Canada and 13 years at Cisco Systems.

Jay Evans is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Interactive Health Ltd (IHL). He has played an important role in the design and development of Well @ Being, IHL's new mental health and wellbeing smart app that supports the NHS. Jay has worked internationally  in global health for more than a two decades. In tandem with his role at IHL, he is currently a  Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, an Associate Researcher at the University of Copenhagen and lecturer at ISCTE's Advanced Programme in Digital Health. His work implementing and scaling digital innovation has been written up in several articles and books.
